The Cuckoo Festival

Fleadh na gCuach (The Cuckoo Festival) which is held each year on the May Bank Holiday Weekend is a Traditional Irish Music festival, where one will find over 50 music sessions in the villages' pubs. In addition to the music, one can also find Art & Crafts, Poetry, Drama during the festival.

Fleadh na gCuach (The Cuckoo Fleadh), a hugely enjoyable and successful traditional music and community based arts festival, now in its 15th year.
 
The Cuckoo Festival takes place on the May bank holiday weekend in the beautiful, scenic village of Kinvara, County Galway.

A well-established and richly deserved reputation has ensured that the fleadh has become a showcase for the best in traditional music, attracting musicians from all over the country and beyond.

Kinvara's Cuckoo Fleadh is renowned for the quality of its poster and year after year manages to secure the services of the best local artists. This year's poster is by internationally acclaimed artist, Wishbone, and already the poster is being hailed as a must for art lovers.
